Jason Foreman (he/him) is the Professor of Scenic Design and Head of Design and Production at Oklahoma City University. He has designed scenery for over 100 productions; recent designs include TheatreOCU: Marisol, Enron, The Laramie Project, and To Kill a Mockingbird; OCU School of Music: Hansel and Gretel, Bright Star, Spring Awakening, Cosi fan tutte, and Spamalot; Texas Tech University: Our Country's Good; Reduxion Theatre Company: Sweeney Todd; Canterbury Choral Society/OCU: Bernstein’s Mass. Jason was honored to receive the University Resident Theatre Association's (URTA) 2021 Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Training for Scenic Design and Technology

Jason is an active member with USITT. He has served in a variety of roles on the Conference Committee for the past 16 years. He as served as a Co-Chair for Design, Technologies, and Management with KCACTF Region VI. He has also worked as a designer and scenic artist for Creede Repertory Theatre, Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre, Reduxion Theatre Company, Oklahoma Children’s Theatre, West Virginia Public Theatre, Houston Shakespeare Festival, and Southern Repertory Theatre. He previously taught at Rice University, Sam Houston State University, and the University of New Orleans. He holds his BFA in Design & Technical Production from the University of Oklahoma and his MFA in Scenic Design from California State University, Long Beach. He is a proud member of United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829.
