Jason Foreman is the Professor of Scenic Design and Head of Design and Production at Oklahoma City University. His recent designs include TheatreOCU: Noises Off, Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play (w/CityRep), Peter and the Starcatcher (w/CityRep), 20th Anniversary Oklahoma City Bombing Project, Jackie and Me, Metamorphoses; The Grapes of Wrath (w/CityRep); OCU Opera & Music Theatre Company: Cendrillon, La Rondine, Don Pasquale, Suor Angelica; South Pacific; Texas Tech University: Our Country's Good; Reduxion Theatre Company: Sweeney Todd; Canterbury Choral Society/OCU: Bernstein’s Mass.
Jason is an active member with USITT and is the past Co-Chair for Design, Technologies, and Management with KCACTF Region VI. He has also worked as a designer and scenic artist for Reduxion Theatre Company, Oklahoma Children’s Theatre, West Virginia Public Theatre, Houston Shakespeare Festival, and Southern Repertory Theatre. He previously taught at Rice University, Sam Houston State University, and the University of New Orleans. He holds his MFA in Scenic Design from California State University, Long Beach and he is a member of United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829.
